Screw Notre Dame

Notre Dame can bite me. This is why the BCS and the college football administration suck ass. Last year, Cal was ranked #4 and beat a good -- not great, but good -- Southern Mississippi game and they DROPPED in the poll. Their only loss was to #1 USC. This year, Notre Dame loses 2 games (incl. #1 USC) and they barely beat a sad, PATHETIC Stanford team and this gets them an automatic bid into the BCS. Whatever. Bah. Go Las Vegas Bowl.

"The ACC has an automatic tie-in for its champion to go to the Orange Bowl." What a crock -- Why is a 8-4 team playing in a BCS game? Why doesn't the BCS system match up the top 8? Florida State played badly in big games yet somehow managed to beat Virginia Tech which had no decent game plan coming into the ACC championship game.

But a sportswriter thought that BCS got it right because it matched up a couple of the winningest coaches in NCAA history. This discounts whatever the other teams did this year for a "classic" matchup between coaches. Other teams are far more deserving than Florida State.

Furthermore, UCLA playing unranked Northwestern? No respect.

For those complaining about strength of schedule when talking about Oregon, then why even consider West Virginia. They played one ranked team, Ohio State, and were crushed in that game; but they get a prime matchup against Georgia? I hope they have lube because they will get violated!
